Bought one the same over 20 yrs ago, it is that faded, and torn it was falling apart but my husband would not give it up. So I bought a new one, the old one is now in the bin.

The Balaklava is excellent . Very warm and extremely light.
The merino wool is lovely and smooth and definitely not at all scratchy.
I wear it in my sleeping bag too keep my head and ears warm in the cold camping nights.
